1. Cost Transparency
- No hidden costs.
- ISRCs and EANs provided by NexaTunes are clearly listed in your royalty statement:
- ISRC: €0.75
- EAN/UPC: €1.00
- Labels are always free to use their own codes at no charge.
2. Payouts
- First payouts are released after two full DSP reporting cycles without policy violations.
- After that, payouts are processed monthly with a 30-day settlement period.
- All fees and deductions are fully documented in your Partner Dashboard.
3. Contract Framework
- NexaTunes works on exclusive distribution agreements with a minimum term of 3 years.
- This ensures catalog stability and long-term protection on DSPs.
4. Core Rules (Summary)
- Content Standards – Only complete, high-quality releases are accepted. No bulk low-effort uploads or content created solely for algorithmic manipulation.
- Use of AI – AI tools are fine as part of a human-led creative process. Fully AI-generated or generic AI uploads are not eligible.
- Label Responsibility – Labels must guarantee rights ownership, provide accurate metadata, and ensure artists do not use questionable promotion services.
- Streaming Manipulation – Irregular streaming activity triggers warnings; repeated incidents may lead to suspension.
- DSP-issued penalties and chargebacks are passed on to the label.
- An administration fee of €10 per affected track applies for purge-related corrective actions.
Why we introduced these rules
The purpose of these rules is to protect labels & professional artists from unnecessary risks and to keep distribution stable.
By setting clear standards for content, payouts, and responsibilities, we avoid disputes later and ensure that serious labels can work with us on a reliable, long-term basis.
